Retail Marketing Assistant Manager (Marcom)

 

Responsibility:

The main purpose of the Retail Marketing Assistant Manager is to develop and implement brand marketing activities daily to accelerate business growth, drive traffic to stores and build Guardian brand.

 

  • Act as brand and marketing custodian. 
  • Work closely with HoD to come up with strategy and brand & marketing action plan and execute all creative and effective integrated brand marketing approaches to build brand awareness, and brand love, increase brand engagement, effectively enhance brand power, attract customers to stores and support sales
  • Work closely with the commercial team (especially with Category Manager/Senior Category Manager) to plan for activation, new SKU and new brand in launching and monthly promotion as well as communication
    Build the plan for partnership with key suppliers and brands to deliver annual business target
    Follow and control brand guideline effectively while working with internal teams and managing agencies
  • Create insightful creative concepts for brand marketing campaigns; synchronize online and offline marketing activities; deliver effectively, on time all brand marketing campaigns and achieve KPIs by executing well these concepts and related details
  • Define measurable KPIs of all brand marketing campaigns
  • Manage brand marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency, measurable objectives and KPIs of brand marketing campaigns  
  • Make sure agencies deliver KPIs applying professional and official tools and methods
  • Work closely with internal marketing team members, especially visual merchandiser, creative and digital marketing person in charge as well as cross-functional teams and agencies to initiate, plan and implement daily brand marketing activities including but not limit to:

o   Brand communication, management and building

o   Online and offline related activations/ events

o   Consumer sales promotion

o   Brand marketing campaigns’ performance review and reports

o   All related researches

o   All necessary licenses and/or legal documents for all brand marketing campaigns

o   Monthly brand marketing expenses report and keeping track of allocated brand marketing budget

o   Monthly and by campaign brand marketing report 

  • Build good relationships with and manage good agencies (digital, design, production, media, license agency, and other partners)
  • Explore and build up good relationships with other business units within the Jardine Matheson group to implement brand marketing activities
  • Other projects as assigned by line manager

Requirement:

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of brand marketing and/ or advertising in retail, FMCGs related to cosmetics, skincare, beauty care, personal care, fashion, food or beverages. Experience in brand’s activation & IMC plan is an advantage
  • Ability to develop strategic planning, creative insightful concepts
  • Hands on experience in setting up brand marketing KPIs, using appropriate tools to achieve KPIs and measure brand campaign performance with proven track record of delivering effective brand marketing campaigns
  • Good knowledge of social media trends, latest creative digital formats, Adobe Photoshop and video editing software is a plus
  • Excellent project management skills including time management, attention to details and prioritization to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Good strategy planning, A&P budget management and analytical skills
  • Proactive team player with winning spirit;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet constantly collaborating well with others within marketing team and the company
  • Good work ethic, positive attitude with a growth mindset
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Mobility and willingness to work extra hours for events or weekend, when needed
